Thee May/Moving Mixtape

None of these are my house.

Ok. Packing break.

Moving house at the moment. Well, kind of. It's in stasis due to an insanely busy schedule (Helen Pitt opening tonight...drop work for show at Plank Gallery tomorrow...Plank show Saturday...work...etc) so I'm packing whatever I can whenever I can and hitting up the bloggy-blog for a moment or two of rest.

Funny thing is, rent's paid on the new place but due to attempting to schedule bro's with vans and the aforementioned art craziness, I actually haven't had any chunk of time that co-ordinates with others to physically start moving the crap. Fun. Even more annoying is that it's a mere 6 blocks away. So close yet so far. But I'm not really interested in portaging my bed and crates of vinyl either.

Anyways....
The May Mixtape is finally ready.
I think I'm trying to cram in as much blog stuff as possible until I go offline and transfer my interweb account, hence the flurry of posts.

So. Here ya go. Hit the link. It's up for a short while and then that's it.

As usual, big-ups to Lovefingers, Art Decade, 33/45, Bumrocks, Fervent Moon, 20JFG, the Ill-ectronic et al for posting things that keep my curiosity for new music stoked. Links are to your right.

Notes:
Chantal Goya---think ye-ye, Godard. Sagittarius & Phil Cordell are gems of pure pop sunshine. Peter Sarstedt is a vinyl rip from my collection, as blogged over at The Year of Spaghetti. Tenniscoats are from M in Japan. Things get techy & dubbed-out with Echospace & Force of Nature. Can is Can, and thats always a good thing. Ozo is hypnotic-exotic cheese circa 1976. Om mani padme hum, motherfucker.

Overall, a mellow, even sexy mix. Save it for your next hot date. Or for hanging out in architectural spaces pictured above. Or maybe a hot date in one of the spaces pictured above.

Ok. Off to my vernissage!
